Most Promising Male Star: Rocco Nacino

After the recognitions he received from PMPC Star Awards as New Movie Actor of the Year, and EnPress Society Golden Screen Awards as Best Breakthrough Performance by an Actor, Rocco Nacino is continuously receiving more blessings and credits on his brilliant performance in "Ang Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa."

He has once again proven his worth in the entertainment industry as the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation - 43rd Box-Office Entertainment Awards have chosen him as the Most Promising Male Star. The awards night was held at Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium in RCBC Plaza in Makati City on April 29, 2012.

Unfortunately, Rocco was not able to receive his award personally because he was still in Ilocos, shooting for his upcoming epic film, Biag ni Lam-ang (where he plays the title role as the Ilocano hero, Lam-ang). On his behalf, his younger brother, Kyle, accepted his award.

On his brother's behalf, Kyle Nacino accepted the award.
Reading a text message from his brother, making sure not to miss anyone on Rocco's Thank You list.

Kyle is undeniably another showbiz material. Random fact: Kyle is also a good dancer. :)

With an undeniable talent and determination, backed up by a supportive and God-centered family, Rocco is definitely going a long way in the world of entertainment. He indeed deserves a spot in the Philippine showbiz industry!

Rocco's ever-supportive family attended the awards night.
