Born to Love You

What will you get if you put together the country’s hottest primetime actor and a sought-after female singer in one project? Well, you get a winning big-screen combo!

In continuation of its 19th Anniversary, Star Cinema together with Cinemedia proudly brings the romantic movie “Born to Love You” starring Coco Martin in his first light romance movie and Angeline Quinto in her first-ever movie. The film is directed by first-time movie director Jerome Pobocan, director of hit past teleseryes like May Bukas Pa and Mara Clara among others. With this, “Born to Love You” is certainly a big movie with many firsts!

Coco excitedly shares his joy of finally doing a love story movie! He had already done action and drama, but he said one of his dreams is to star in a love story movie. This movie unfolded that dream of Coco. Angeline, on the other hand, is even more excited for two of her biggest wishes came true – having a movie and be paired with his crush, Coco Martin.

Coco and Angeline play Rex and Joey, respectively. Rex is a photographer who considers every click of his camera as a way to make his future clear. He struggled his way just to survive. He comes from a broken family and practically grew up by his lonesome. Joey is a tourist guide in search of her true father. She’s a tourist guide whose encounter with every tourist is her way of getting closer to finding her father she has never seen and is said to be somewhere in Korea. She comes from a poor family who struggles with the day by day realities of life. What happens when these two souls who have the same situation in life but pursuing opposite directions meet and fall in love?
Malou De Guzman shares her experience with Angeline and Coco.

Also part of the movie is the talented and still handsome, Albert Martinez.

Because he’s the more experienced in the industry, having successfully graduated from indie to mainstream and winning awards along the way, Coco inevitably acts not only as a leading man but also as a mentor to Angeline.
Peddled to be tracing the footsteps of Sarah Geronimo (also a talent-search winner recruited for movies), Angeline said that she’s happy to have chosen the right role model.

The movie will have its grand red carpet premiere night on May 29, 2012 at SM Megamall Cinema 9 at 6:00 PM. It also stars Albert Martinez, Eula Valdez, Tonton Gutierrez, Al Tantay and Malou de Guzman, and opens in over 100 theaters nationwide on May 30.
