Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo

The best-selling humor book of the self-proclaimed internet action star, Ramon Bautista, "Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo" turned out to be a phenomenon especially to those who have been into love problems. It has certainly helped the romantic Filipinos to be truthful to themselves by giving straight-forward advice on how to move on easily, and on being realistic and practical to the various modern-day situations.

In continuing the celebration of their 20th anniversary in the movie industry, Star Cinema creates another milestone as they produce the movie adaptation of Ramon Bautista's best-selling book. Directed by blockbuster director, Bb. Joyce Bernal, the movie will be spearheaded by one of the country's most admired love team, Kim Chiu and Xian Lim.

We won't expect the movie, of course, to be entirely based on the book, as the book isn't actually a novel, but a series of funny questions answered brutally-truthful by Sir Ramon. However, the movie's characters are based on the most common description of the question-senders to Sir Ramon. The characters portrayed by Kim and Xian will also be in the familiar situations that are described in the book.

"Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo" is a self-help comedy movie about the lives of brainy 'ugly duckling' employee Sandy Veloso (Kim) and his rich and dashing boss Alex Prieto (Xian). From an interesting encounter, the boss and the assistant will find themselves sealing a deal - Sandy will help Alex learn the ropes for him to effectively run their company, while Alex helps Sandy learn to play the practical game of dating and relationships for her to get back on her ex-boyfriend Gardo (played by Kean Cipriano) and not get her heart broken ever again.

Aside from Kim, Xian and Kean, the book author himself, Ramon Bautista is also part of the movie! Guess what his interesting role is!

Kim and Xian's first movie team-up will hit cinemas nationwide on July 31, 2013. Don't miss it!
