The JaDine Invasion

The love team of James Reid and Nadine Lustre, popularly known as JaDine, is certainly the hottest and the most popular in the country today. With their unquestionable talents, admirable personalities, and a huge base of loyal fans and supporters, these two are definitely worthy of their spot in showbiz.

Their first project together and also their biggest break, the movie adaptation of the best-selling Wattpad series "Diary ng Panget", unexpectedly hit the country by storm! Who would've thought that a romcom flick top-billed by showbiz newbies will earn millions and launch two humble individuals to super stardom? Admit it, with the current stand of showbiz in the Philippines, it was totally a risk for Viva Entertainment to produce a movie starring 'then unknown' talents as its lead stars.

After the overwhelming success of "Diary ng Panget," James and Nadine's team-up has instantly become a household name, even considered as a threat to all existing loveteams in the country.  And as expected, their loveteam has been blessed with more successful projects such as the movie entitled "Talk Back and You're Dead" and the TV series, "My App Boyfie."

I've never been a fan of love teams but I must confess, I am a fan of these two. There are a lot of reasons why James Reid and Nadine Lustre have effortlessly won the hearts of the Pinoy crowd. Aside from their amazing talent (both can sing, dance and act), these two have the what-you-see-is-what-you-get characters that is so uncommon to celebrities. They don't have to fake their closeness and have always been honest to their fans and critics.

James, describing himself as quiet but careless, is so transparent and is not used to giving 'showbiz' statements that he answers with all honesty during interviews. His social media accounts show his real self, being a party-goer (which I think is normal), a loving son and a good friend. Well, he could've been evicted in the PBB House early on if he was not loved by his housemates and the fans, but no, he even emerged as the Grand Winner.

Nadine, who has been a bit player in some movies and TV series when she was younger, has waited way too long for her break to come. Her humble beginnings and smart, witty responses to bashers and critics is what makes her truly desirable. Her ability to handle issues calmly, turning negative vibes to positivity is truly worthy of admiration.

Both talented and dedicated to their work, these two truly deserve all the success they are now reaping. Aside from their numerous product endorsements, another addition to their proof of being one of the most sought-after stars now is, having their own albums.

Yes, James and Nadine launched their newest albums under Viva Records last March 6 in Eastwood Central Plaza, where they entertained their fans by showcasing their singing skills. As always, the crowd went wild and crazy while James and Nadine performed their original songs from their albums and took photos and selfies with them. Well, JaDine isn’t new to the big crowd since all their mall shows and regional shows have always been jampacked. (James even has the record of having the most number of crowd in a single mall show - 15,000 attendees! Wow!)

Their songs in the album are well-written and have the international pop music vibe. The tracks in their album with their cute lyrics and beats are perfect for James and Nadine. Plus, these two can really sing! Their duets "Hanap-Hanap" is included in James' album, while "Bahala Na" is included in Nadine's.

Grab your copy of their albums, Reid Alert and Nadine Lustre in your favorite record stores and/or in iTunes. You can listen to them for free on Spotify and Spinnr.

Aside from their solo albums, you can also catch this phenomenal loveteam in their upcoming movie with Julia Barretto and Iñigo Pascual -- based on Marcelo Santos III's novel entitled "Para sa Hopeless Romantic" which will be shown in cinemas nationwide on May 13. They are also set to lead a teleserye on ABS-CBN this year entitled "On The Wings of Love."

With their undeniable talents, irresistible good looks and charm, passion for learning and improving their crafts, and being loving children to their parents, there's no reason why James and Nadine won't be successful. They have just started harvesting the special blessings they truly deserve. They have just started the JaDine invasion.

PS. I love their creativity and eye for arts and photography on Instagram (@jaye.wolf and @nadzlustre).
